Dear Keith,

First allow me to apologize for not answering your letter
sooner. Partly it is bound up with repairs in some rooms of
our laboratory, therefore I was obliged to be in vacation over
a long period of time.
     This diskette contain
 - new ring width data of samples collected in 1993 (subd.
"93") and list of these samples (93.lst). Not all samples
measured today;
 - some series that were missing in first portion of data
(subd. "82");
 - some corrected series (subd. "CORR");
 - data of densitometric analysis of some samples
(yamalsf1.ser), list of these samples (dens.lst) and
separately ring width data of these samples (subd.
"DENS\RW");
 - list of new floating chronologies (float.lst);
 - list of samples that prepared for radiocarbon analysis in
Switzerland (c-14.lst).

For some trees collected in 1993 there are two and more
series. Several of these have been crossdated. For these
series as well as for series NN 8 up to 23 zeros means missing
rings. For other series measured by Surkov zeros are very thin
ring width, less then 1. Three zeros in succession means
potential gap (crack, rotten wood etc.).
